Disciples Of Every Nation
Our Mission
We are a mission organization based out of Omaha, Nebraska that focuses on fulfilling the directive given to us in Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” We work with and support our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world to build God’s Kingdom in addition to other special projects.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit can equip anyone to be a missionary or raise up support for our brothers and sisters in Christ
- We help initiate relationships with called partners that help spread the Gospel.
- We lead by serving alongside our called partners.
- All funds raised support mission projects.
- Board members serve as volunteers with no paid staff and minimal overhead administration.

Concordia Partnership
MM28 is partnering with Concordia Lutheran Schools of Omaha to help four native Chinese students attend Concordia in the fall of 2022! These students previously attended international style boarding schools in China that were run by Christian organizations. These schools are being forced to close, or move locations, due to recent government policies. One of these schools was established in Mainland China by the Hong Kong Lutheran Synod. MM28 partnered, in the past, with the Hong Kong Lutheran Synod and sent numerous mission teams there as well as long term missionaries. That work can no longer take place due to numerous factors, including increased government restrictions within Hong Kong.
These students are special in that they are all children of Chinese missionaries and church workers. Since these parents do not have large incomes, they are very challenged to meet the financial commitment that is required to send their children abroad to study and live. The parents are struggling as they don’t feel they can, in good conscience, send their children to public school in China where they will be indoctrinated with communistic beliefs and traditional Chinese “religions” (ancestor worship etc). The children already have a faith walk and they desire to live with Christian families in Omaha. They are all academically strong and have high English levels since their classes in China were taught in English. The board of MM28 has decided to work to raise funds to make a Christain education at Concordia Omaha possible for these students.
Update – Summer 2023
We praise God that all four of our scholarship students finished their first year (2022 / 23) at Concordia with success! They all finished with strong grades, a deeper understanding of the Christian faith, new friendships and fantastic relationships with their host families! Many of the students jumped in and joined school sports teams, played in the Praise Band and even played in the orchestra pit for the spring musical. They all experienced American culture in their host families as they celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas and had the chance to play in real snow!!
These students have impacted their fellow classmates and host families with their sincere appreciation of the opportunity they have to study at Concordia Omaha. They have also shared their experiences of having to be very careful in China about where they went to school. In one case, the students attended a school that was hidden behind a restaurant to avoid government detection. They have all had moments of “adjustment” as they have come to know what real life in America is like and found that it is not what they were told in China by the government. All of these students have been wonderful additions to their host families and been very helpful within their new homes.
For the 2023 / 24 school year, we are still prayerfully continuing work on completing our fundraising goals. As of August 2023 we still require approximately $20,000 to be fully funded. This is after the school has blessed the students with a reduction of 45% on tuition and the parents have made substantial amounts as well. If anyone has questions or would like to discuss making a donation we would encourage them to contact the Executive Director, Robert Latimer at 402-332-8122 or Tammy Latimer at 402-547-3553.

Short Term Missionaries
We recruit and train teams and individuals to serve on short term mission trips in schools and/or churches abroad. This option is open to youth groups, adult church teams, families, or just a handful of individuals looking for a way to share Jesus’ love. We ask that team members be at least 14 years of age unless they are traveling with their parents. We are looking for people who want to grow the kingdom one relationship at a time.
